Business Edition 6000s Highlights

  • BE6Ks Delivers essential collaboration for up to 150 users and 300 devices
  • Business Edition 6000s easy to manage, all-in-one platform with 5 fixed, preconfigured core applications:

-Cisco Unified Communications Manager

-Cisco Unity Connection

-Cisco Unified Instant Messaging and Presence Service

-Cisco Prime Collaboration Provisioning

-Cisco Paging Server

  • Business Edition 6000s supports point-to-point video collaboration
  • Industry’s first “office in a box” solution based on the Cisco ISR 2921V and UCS E160D M2 blade server, with routing, gateway, wireless, security, and collaboration services all together in a single chassis
  • Business Edition 6000s is simple and scalable solution with seamless migration path to higher-end platform

Business Edition 6000s

1. Comes in 3 options: with PRI, FXO and BRI interfaces.

2. You can also add more router interfaces (data/voice) and other router options (security, additional DSPs, etc.) if desired.

3. Supports video endpoints but there is no support to run video applications like Expressway or on UCS blade.

If needed, you could deploy these on a seperate BE6K server.

The base Business edition 6000s (BE6000S) product works directly with the Cisco 2921 Integrated Services Router that provides a base of network security, routing, and wireless connectivity through a single piece of hardware. Now, the router can provide collaboration through voice, video, instant messaging, presence, and paging easily to businesses that have anywhere from 25 to 150 users. When businesses find that they have outgrown the capabilities of the technology, they can upgrade to a similar product directly through Cisco. Additional licenses can upgrade video and provide mobility, contact center, and conferencing services.

This “Cisco Config to Order Portal” will allow distributors to match the exact needs of their customers and provide versions of the BE6000 that cater exactly to what they demand.
